Hindustan Chemicals Works manufactures PVC moulds for interlocking pavers, floor tiles, roof tiles and kerbstone from Kotkapura in Punjab, and supplies the machinery, colours and chemicals that tile and paver units depend on.
Our story
How the business works
Hindustan Chemicals Works began with moulds, and moulds are still the centre of what we do. From the workshop on Moga Road in Kotkapura we manufacture PVC moulds for interlocking pavers, floor tiles, roof tiles and kerbstone, across the designs and thicknesses that paver and tile units in Punjab actually run. Over time the range grew outwards from the mould itself. Customers casting from our moulds needed vibrating tables that suited them, mixers that batched consistently, colour that held its shade and hardener that stood up to traffic. Rather than send them elsewhere, we took those lines on - which is why the same unit can now source its moulds, its machinery, its pigment and its chemicals from one supplier who understands how the four fit together. The company is ISO 9001:2008 certified and markets LANXESS iron oxide pigments from Germany alongside the TATA colour range.
What does not change is the method: understand what you are casting, confirm the design, size and thickness in writing, and supply moulds that release cleanly and hold their shape. Where a design cannot be moulded, we say so early rather than leaving an enquiry open.
